Asus G75VW Laptop 5G WiFi Pertama di Dunia

Disaat beberapa Negara lain telah merasakan bagaimana cepatnya jaringan 4G LTE, Indonesia masih berkutat dengan jaringan 3G dengan alasan sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai untuk menghadirkan jaringan 4G LTE. Dan kini, Indonesia nampaknya akan semakin ketinggalan karena Asus telah memperkenalkan sebuah laptop gaming terbaru miliknya yang hadir dengan jaringan 5G Wifi.

Di ajang Computex 2012 yang berlangsung di Taipei, Asus  memamerkan Asus G75VW yang diklaim sebagai laptop pertama yang mendukung jaringan 5G. pihak Asus menyatakan bahwa laptop ini akan segera dirilis dan dipasarkan dalam waktu dekat.

Jaringan 5G sendiri mendukung kecepatan hingga 1.3Gbps. Namun karena menggunakan 802.11ac yang merupakan generasi kelima dari standar WiFi maka kecepatan yang dibawa jadi sedikit melambat jika dibandingkan dengan 5G Wi-Fi dari Broadcom. Tapi jika dibandingkan dengan 4G LTE, tentu saja 5G Wifi jauh lebih kencang.
5G Wifi diharapkan akan bisa merambah ke Smartphone, Wireless router, tablet dan gadget lainnya pada tahun 2013 mendatang. Bagaimana dengan Indonesia???
